Supervision
Therapists undertake clinical supervision as a regular part of their professional practice. Supervision allows the opportunity to reflect on and learn from sessions with clients.

As an experienced therapist and EMDR consultant, Nick Adams provides supervision to therapists who offer EMDR and ERT within their practice.

All supervision is delivered virtually via Teams or Zoom. Individual supervision sessions are one-hour long, group sessions may vary in length.
ERT
supervision
As ERT trainer, Nick is knowledgeable and experienced in delivering emotional response therapy.

Supervision starts during training, with trainees participating in two group supervision sessions in order to qualify as an ERT therapist.

Once therapists are practising ERT they are encouraged to access supervision on either a group or individual basis to build their knowledge and experience in applying ERT successfully with clients.
EMDR supervision
As an accredited EMDR consultant, Nick Adams is qualified to provide clinical supervision to EMDR practitioners and consultants.

Supervision provides the opportunity for EMDR therapists to develop their knowledge and practice in the therapy. It is part of the development process for therapists moving from trainee to practitioner and on to consultant level.

Nick currently provides EMDR supervision to therapists working in both NHS and private practice settings.
